I actually spotted Melinda and Lotta from behind. There was a certain vibe I had to check out. As they turn around I know I did the right choice. I had spotted Not only Melinda and Lotta, But I had found the designer of lottajewellery.com.

"Eyebrow pen and lipstick."

"Lipstick.."

"Ripped jeans and "glam". All shopping is done twice a year, in Paris!"

Pernilla

I walked by Pernilla and  saw that she is a girl who like my self, has love for makeup.

"Make sure you are working on a good base."

"Concealer and eyebrow pen.."

"Comfortable, and at times second hand items. I like a mix affordable fashion and luxuary."

"My shades and makeup bag with all my necessities."

"Classic! Jeans and a T-shirt and a comfy coat. Love hats, specially during winter. I like a sporty look, high pony tail, sneakers and colourful details!"

Cecilia

I saw Cecilia from afar and I have to say that I am kind of jealous of her hair colour. I truly wish that I was born a red-head (or a lil blondie).

"Make sure you always clean your skin."

"A lot of colours. I have my own style and I always use blush! "

Jacqueline

I met Jacqueline on my "Street Fashion-tour". She doesn´t only have a stunning and natural beauty, but also a happy and sparkling

"Less is more"

"I always try to dress in a way that lets me feel comfortable. I would like to vall is relaxed but fashionable. And you will mostly see

Alda

Our "Street Fashion-tour" continues.
I met Alda who works as a hair dresser. I get inspired by her hair style and while I´m taking her photos I´m wondering if I should try to
braid my hair like her. I really like her subtle and natural makeup.
She lets me know that she got inspired by a fashion spread, to wear the "all jeans" outfit together with a beige coat - I like it!

But the favourite part of all must be the green Michael Kors bag and her white nail polish - Love!

"Use an eyeliner to define your eyes"

2. What´s always in your purse?
"My eyeliner and my wallet."

3. How would you describe your style?
"I try to always dress for the occasion."

Malak

We are doing a "Street Fashion-tour". Or call it a "Street Beauty-tour" if you will.
I met this girl Malak who clearly gots it.  I spot her from afar and her style surely stands out from the festival crowd.
We let Malak inspire us by asking her 3 beauty questions.

1. What are your best makeup tips?
"Brow gel! You can eaven use it on your eyelashes to creat a so called cat look."

2. What´s always in your purse?
"My primer."

3. How would you describe your style?
"Schizophrenic" And she laughes. "I tend to combind an elegant style with a sporty look."

Awsome style for those who like to go straight from work to after-works.
With her long blonde hair, Loui Vuitton bag,  jeans shorts, sneakers, long nails and a winged eyeliner she has inspired us to combind elegance with street!

PS. I love that she called her style Schizophrenic - that is kind of how I see my own style!

I hope that you have enjoyed Summer as much as I have. I also hope that you have been taking care of your skin. Hopefully you have been using SPF.
And even though you have been thrilled by the fact that the lovely sun has been a caressing you, I hope that you have been fully aware that the sun rays are and probably always will be harmful when you are exposed to them in an irresponsible way.

A good tip is to now use a softening and revitalising Primer.

Most of us are so happy that we have been sun kissed during summer. However, now some of us are starting to panic by the fact that the sun touched look is slowly dissaparing.
The panic is over ladies! Keep the glowing tan with a Bronzing Powder. Apply bronzing powder where the sun rays normally hit your face.

Did you know that it´s not only your hair that get bleached by the sun? We also get sun bleached eyebrows. And we should all remember that the best way to frame your face is to have nicely shaped eyebrows.
So, my last tip for today is that you use an eyebrow pen to shape and enhance your natural eyebrows.

"At first I was scouted when I was 13. I was at Liseberg that day.  However, I thought I was too young and at the time I didn´t want to work.
2003 I met Sweden Models at a Beauty Fair in Malmö. They took some pictures of me on the spot and then I had to visit the agency for more test images. Since then, I have been working as a model."

-What modeling job have you enjoyed the most?
"It will probably have to be when I worked with the famous photographer Hans Feuer. We were in the Bahamas for a week. But it was only a 3-day job. We rode horses on the beach and all of this later became a beautifull story. I got the job through U magazine."

-What is the best thing about beeing a model?
"We get to travel a lot. It is always a great variety of jobs. We meet a lot of new people. Learn new cultures. Visit different countries. It's good money, and I like irregular hours. And I  like beeing my own boss."

-What does your everyday makeup look like?
"I usually use some foundation, mascara, brown eyeshadow. And sometimes a lipcolor pen."

-What´s always in your purse?
"In my purse you can always find, chewing gum, my cell phone, my passport, my credit card and my keys."

-What modeling job is your dream job?
"A Calvin Klein parfume ad."

-What are your overseas experiences?
"I have lived in Athens, Milan, Barcelona, London, New York and Hamburg. And then I have traveled all around the world."

"My mom has worked as a model at Sweden Models. And there is where my modeling interest has developed."

"I loved a shoot I did in Italy. It was for an Italian magazine and it was a really hot shoot."

"The traveling and meeting new people."

-What does your everyday makeup look like?
"I usually use an eyebrow pen and mascara."

"Everything! Mascara, eyebrow pen, lash curler, cell phone, headphones, concealer, necklace, vaseline, napkins, phone charger, wallet, perfume, keys and eye roll on."

"Of course Victoria´s Secret."

"My first  overseas job was in Milan. It was very warm and I was not allowed to get tanned so I had to wear sunscreen lotion SPF 50+!"

1. Find a colour that vanishes into your own skin tone. If you have two different shades, it´s easy for you to dab the two shades on the back of your hand and blend them together. Your skin tone changes depending on which season it is.

2. Make sure you apply BB Cream when you have a good lighting. This makes it easier for you to achieve a natural base.

3. Dab some BB Cream on the back of your hand and use a Foundation Brush to apply with soft and short strokes. Start from the center of your face and work your way out

-When did you know that you wanted to become an MUA?
I have always been very interested in shapes and colours. However I started to get interested in makeup when I was in high school.

-What job have you enjoyed the most?
Each and every second that I am working with Ellimacs tutorials. When the photagrapher Macs Moser and I do looks for www.ellimacs.com we allow us to let our creativity flow freely.
I get to work without any restrictions. That is why I love it!

-What is the best thing about beeing an MUA?
Where should I begin? I have loads of makeup, new and exciting meetings all the time, I learn something new every day and I get to work with what I love!

-What does your everyday makeup look like?
I usually use BB-Cream or mineral powder. I always define my eyebrows. It really frames the whole face! I throw on some fake lashes to achieve a cat eye look and then I finish of with a  lip balm to hydrate my lips!

-What´s always in your purse?
I always bring an eyebrow pen, an eyeliner and a nice lipgloss! It can really save any makeup-crisis!

-What is your dream job?
My dream is to work behind the scenes with special effect makeup in Hollywood.

-What is your best hair tip on a busy day?
Blow dry your hair upside down or use the Volume master. Volume can always bring your hair back to life.

-What are your best makeup tips?
Some blush to lighten up any boring weather. Even if it´s cold outside the sun does shine. A good makeup-base with SPF will protect your skin. Remember to wash all you makeup off, every evening. You want to let your skin breath while you are asleep, so that when you wake up your skin is fresh and ready for some new makeup.

Mika had their base in Stockholm so they recommended that I contacted Sweden Models since it´s closer to where I live. And so I did.

-What modeling job have you enjoyed the most?
"I like fashion shows and runways."

-What is the best thing about beeing a model?
"The large variety. Meeting new people. And new adventures."

-What does your everyday makeup look like?
"When I work in the restaurant I don´t ware makeup. Outside work I like to wear bronzing powder and mascara."

-What´s always in your purse?
"My cell phone, my wallet, a large amount of pencils, a hair brush, makeup bag, lotion and perfume."

-What modeling job is your dream job?
"A fashion show with Victoria´s Secret."

-What are your overseas experiences?
"I have not traveled in my work yet.. However I do travel a lot. My last trip was to Asia with my boyfriend and friends. And the favourite country was Cambodia. It has a very nice scenery and lovely people. Next time we travel, we will explore South America."

"I would have to say a modeling job for Abercrombie and Fitch in the US."

"The part where we get to travel alot and to meet new friends."

-What does your everyday makeup look like?
"That would be blush and mascara."

-What´s always in your purse?
"I always have my cell phone with me, together with the game called Minion rush.."

-What modeling job is your dream job?
"Any world famous magazine."

-What are your overseas experiences?
"I have been working with Abercrombie and Fitch in the US."

A few tricks to get long and seperated lashes with the Volume & Length Mascara:

• The shape of the wand makes it easy for you to come close to the lash line
  
• Start by applying a layer as close to the lash line as possible
  
• Wiggle the wand back and forth to get seperated lashes
  
• When applying the first layer, only apply near the roots
  
• Leave the tip of the lashes mascara-free
  
• Let the first layer of mascara dry a few seconds
  
• Apply a second layer
  
• Now apply all the way from the lash line to the tip of the lashes (wiggle the wand back and forth)
• On the lower lashes, apply a thin layer, If needed, use a spoolie to give them a seperated and clean look.
  

The key is to wiggle the wand back and forth.
Apply a thick layer close to the lash line and a thinner layer on the tip of the lashes.

If you don´t have a special brush cleanser, here are some useful tips:

• Run the brush under warm water
• Use a mild shampoo
  
• Lather up
  
• You might want to clean Blush Brushes, Foundation Brushes and Concealer Brushes extra thoroughly
• Rinse under warm water and make sure there is no more lather
• Use a dry towel to dry the brush
  
• Dab the bristle on the towel gently
• Be careful not to change the natural shape of the bristle
• Let the brushes dry while laying down horizontal on a dry towel. We don´t want any water in the ferrule
• Rotate the brush after a few hours if needed
• For best result, let the brush dry over night
